CHANGE IS IN THE AIR....
29 May 2008
The Times ….
They-are-a-changing! From Oprah going vegan for 21 days to John McCain selling organic cotton campaign “gear”, each day brings us an opportunity to stretch out our arms and embrace the new members of the ever-evolving green community. It’s high time to promote and encourage sustainable living at all levels—mainstream media and presidential candidates included. However, it would be unwise to rest on any laurels. There are an abundance of issues critical to the health of the planet and its inhabitants demanding our attention. A few that caught my attention (this week!) involve supporting incentives for clean energy jobs and banning phtlalates from childrens’ toys. Use the links below to get in the action …or start your own petition.
Stay engaged!
